Tony is our first donkey! He came to us after his companion (and father) of 20 years passed away at the age of 45. His human owners were also not well, and could no longer take care of him. We saw a post on Facebook, and jumped. We went and picked him up that night and we ADORE him! He is fat, and mouthy, and loud, and has the most soulful eyes. He loves cookies and apples, and follows me around the barn while I do my chores. Tony talks to every piece of farm equipment we run. Check out the video below from Christmas Day when Amelia was riding her new dump truck! He loves to bellow at everything!
Tony is about 19 years old, and donkeys can live a long time! Tony is part of our petting zoo that is available during Pony Parties at the Farm. He loves to get pets and treats and be around people. He was well loved before he came to us, and we are continuing to love on him!
We look forward to being able to introduce him to people who visit the farm. He is a big people pleaser!
