What is Equine-Assisted Learning
Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL) is an experiential approach to personal growth that uses purposeful interactions with horses to develop life skills in a safe, supportive environment. Horses naturally respond to human emotions, body language, and communication, making them exceptional partners in learning. Through carefully designed, ground-based activities, participants build confidence, improve communication, strengthen problem-solving skills, develop emotional awareness, and learn the value of trust, patience, and teamwork.

As a PATH Intl. Certified Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning (ESMHL), I facilitate sessions that are tailored to each individual's goals and strengths. Whether working with children, teens, or families, every experience is designed to encourage personal growth, resilience, self-confidence, and meaningful connections. At Muddy Boots Horse Farm & Rescue, our rescued horses become compassionate teachers, helping participants discover that growth often begins with patience, understanding, and the courage to take one step at a time.

Personalized Support Through Horses
Every child learns differently, and horses have a unique way of helping children build confidence, communication, emotional awareness, and social skills.
As a PATH Intl. Certified Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning (ESMHL), I provide individualized equine-assisted learning experiences for children with diverse needs in a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment.
Private and semi-private sessions are tailored to each child and begin with a conversation to better understand your family's goals and determine whether our program is a good fit.
Learning through horses. Growing through experience.
